Mudsimus Posted July 28, 2010 Share The Skareb is miles better than the Dart. Travel should be the same.

Hairy Posted July 28, 2010 Share You won't look back .. the Skareb has a good feel and should be a far better ride than the Dart. I had one before and she felt really good!
Mecnic Posted July 28, 2010 Share Skarebs are good forks if you can get it for a good price even better, Have it serviced before you put it on the bike, will be worth it. Keep up the maintance it will last a long time.

Read on the internet this morning that the remote-lockout is a bit crappy. but My bike tech will fix it tonight and it will be on the handle bar for show only.Pity though....Thanx for the advice!!!!!!!!!!!! Mecnic Posted July 28, 2010 Share The intenals can be cleaned usualy if the lock out won't work the intnals are all gunked up usually the return spring. Can be taken apart and cleaned. Its a relatively easy process Hopefully your bike tech will sort it and the remote will work again. Enjoy the new fork.
