Hendrik Petoors Posted August 18, 2007 Share Hi All ...... we are safe and sound in Pretoria. We travelled well. SAA in Lagos must be the most deurmekaar airline in the world. Lost my marbles totally a few times during last week. The trip was also long. We woke yesterday morning. packed, did some work, left for the airport, waited and waited and waited and waited and we let at 23h00 (24h00 here) and arrived at 06h00. Had breakfast at the kids, got some groceries and booked in at 11h30. Passed out and slept untill now. Lekker om weer in die beskawing te wees!!!!!!! How did rooiwal go today. We were just too tired to visit. Are ther any more races somewhere next week. Also on 15 September. We leave again on 16 September for Lagos.Hendrik Petoors2007-08-18 10:18:

Hendrik Petoors Posted August 18, 2007 Share It seems they help their local buddies first. Well I will become a local now with my new job. Dashing and the national language in Nigeria will have to suffice. The national language is Naira, the local currency. With my new status M and I will fly business class from now on. Our MD uses an escort convoy with sirens blaring into the airport. Does not stand in the queue does not go through customs, just enters a small door goes up in a lift and straight into their protocol longe. I will have acces to the same when we go back. Skye, I saw the whales at the Inhaca Peninsula in Mozambique in 2006. M and I were sitting high on a dune and we could see them frolicking just on the other side of a coral reef in crystal clear water. Some them flapping tails and doing spectacular rises. AMAZING!!!!!!!
