David Garrett, a Cape Town local and Pinnical Point Team Rider is currently at the Vets and Masters Worlds. (I think one of the few from SA)

 

He is racing in Class B in the 30 to 34 age group.

 

Got a top 20, just 0:01:01 behind the winner. You go Boy!!!!smiley32.gif

 

Not bad for a Cape Town amature holding down a full time job as well!!

Main Event - David came in 8th, in what looks like a serious bunch sprint.

Oom HP, wait for it he uses Campy. smiley36.gif and seems to be quite Specialized.smiley32.gif

 

However his mechanic needs to be shot for not setting it up properly, as he had a chain-off last week ans could have done better in the warm up than he did.
