Richard Posted August 4, 2010 Share I am a pragmatic, recreational average triathlete, that could do with some advice from fellow hubbers. I do much of my cycling training on a normal road bike but feel am loosing outto TT boys during triathlon events. I plan to do full and half Ironman next year. Owning two bikes is out of the question hence my dilemma. Is is better to continue with current road bike with make shift tribars or could it possible to purchase a tri-frame that can be used as a road bike for training (after replacing tribars with normal handlebars) or is there a combo bike out there that one could look into. A improvement of 5 min or more (on 90km race) would be considered significant.
