Sarge Posted August 13, 2010 Share Hi gents,There is a topic on the forum concerning compact cranks etc, that I found very interesting. What about the length of the crank? I am under the impression that the length of the crank is dependent on your height. If I am correct is there a chart that can be used as a guide?RegardsSarge
covie Posted August 13, 2010 Share It has to do with the length of your legs not your total height. Most people use the standard 175MM crank length. but if you have really short or realy long legs you might want to consider changing it. And then probably only if you get pains in your knee's and can't fix your position by adjusting your saddle height, tilt, etc. I have seen refrences to crank lenght but im too lazy this early on a friday to google it for ya.
