Some advice please.

I am thinking of upgrading my existing black DTswiss rims to either Stans ZTR flow rims or DTSwiss XR400 white rims.

I have a red and white specialized.

Are white rims practical?

Do they look too porno?

They will definatly look good. Ive just done the same with a white frame white rims - How do wheel rims go out of fashion? Other colours maybe, but not black or white.

Also do what you like, who cares what anyone else thinks.

White rims looks great IMHO...

Red hubs on white was the way I went as well and am very happy.

If those are your rim options, always choose Flow. They are the stronger and lighter of the AM rims available, just check availability as there was an international shortage a month or two ago.

Can't really see the red hubs, but this is what the rims will look like...

White rims never look bad, I love them on any bike! As for cleaning them - one pump with the cleen green gun, one shot with the hose pipe, and bobs your uncle!
