h4tch3t Posted August 13, 2010 Share Hi, I have a set of X9 shifters which are pretty hard to click through (going up gears).Where does one adjust this setting, as compared to some other SRAM shifters I've used they seem to be tight or just plain hard to click? Li Mu Bai Posted August 13, 2010 Share if there is muck between the outer sheath and the cable, shifting could be impaired. also on very cold days shifting is affected too. make sure all moving points in the derailleurs are lubricated. Usually cable tension affects the motion of the derailleurs through each gear, but I have not come across a setting device on the shifters for making shifting easier harder. JB, where are you... ?
