Tumbleweed Posted August 18, 2010 Share I like it, but wouldn't the spades on the top tube be nice if they were also black?
Pornstar Posted August 18, 2010 Share Thanks, good thinking, i thought the red broke the wording up a bit better and kept the bit of red going
Pornstar Posted August 18, 2010 Share also not sure if you notice inside of back and fork are white and the underside of bike white with branding, so from front and back it looks like a white bike...ha haaa

AndreZA Posted August 18, 2010 Share It looks good but I realy don't like the word "racing" on the frame. Just "Black Spade" sounds good.
Sloet Posted August 18, 2010 Share i thought the black and red of the specialized transition was the ultimate colour combo for TT, but you've given them a slap and the finger great job, hope to see one of these at the 70.3 and ironman expo's and race
Nikolais Posted August 18, 2010 Share I am a Downhiller, so Road bikes usually dont catch my attention.... BUT.....When I first saw your Black Spade Prototype builds etc they really caught my eye. I like this artwork, but preferred the bike when it was Pure black!!!! I know that is not how you wanted it - but the 'Stealth Bomber' look is so Immensely awesome. But all-in-all I think the artwork is great. I am a graphic designer so I hope my opinion counts. Keep up the awesome TT bikes!!!!

davem Posted August 18, 2010 Share Hi Collin Love the base colour layout but must concur with Mampara. The word Racing doesn't add to the brand. Makes it feel like a Motorbike team sort of thing. Love and Passion are words normally associated with red. Perhaps make the words red and keep the spades black. Make the spade on the front fork vertical, not aligned with the fork angle. The brand is written seven times on the frame. Down tube x2, rear stay x2, web address x2 plus underbelly x1. You also feature 6 spades. Add to that the very bold branding on your wheels. Personally, I think this is over design and detracts from the great colour scheme. I think you will make better impact with more minimalist branding. It will also leave some space for your customers to place some personal sponsorship if they like.
pastapouch Posted August 18, 2010 Share Artwork = ...bling = ... for girls . Keep it black.
davem Posted August 18, 2010 Share Thinking some more. Look at the way Cervelo uses elements/parts of the logo or the way that Ceepo uses the partial Ironman logo on the Viper. You can create more interesting design without just writing the brand.

MariusL Posted August 18, 2010 Share Does the frame have internal cable routing? Very nice frame design thou... not totally mad about the branding (different strokes for different folks), but a good job non-the-less. Well done!
