Definition of torture: New bike & bad weather

And you dont want to go out in this weather on that white bike, got my replacement frame a month or two ago and they only had white. Not nice cleaning that after a ride.

Very nice frame and wheels -

Maybe just contact Tyrone (see pimp your bike thread) and get some Scott stickers to make it a bit more respectable.

I would cut the steerer tube flush with the stem. Nice bike though

 

No ways, in three months time when you move your saddle backwards or forwards and want the stem shorter or longer then you need to lift the stem up. Keep it like that you will regret cutting it off one day.

 

And no I dont speak from experience I use that whole 300mm steerer tube.

Thanks, I would like to get my set up right before I make any permanent (irreversable) changes.

I have yet to ride the bike...

just think of my anguish wanting to go on a ride with my white XTC 2009 (Asian market frame) and the ride ends up muddy...I call it a no-fun frame...
