Saudiq Posted August 27, 2010 Share Hi All, I'm trying to find some help for my dad. He's looking to become really frustrated with his cycling. He trains with me most of the time and we do interval training, steady states, sprints and long rides but he almost always ends up cramping. He is on High Blood Pressure meds which we suspect may be cause some of the cramps, but we're not sure so he wants to go see a specialist? Is there anyone that you wonderful people can recommend, preferably in Cape Town. Thanx Edited August 27, 2010 by Saudiq
Borriz Posted August 27, 2010 Share Phone Cyclelab in Fourways. They have an entire support team that should be able to sort out the cramping and possibly the over training :-)

Jake Posted August 27, 2010 Share It would be important to know the name of his blood pressure tablets. I may play a role with cramping.
PeterM Posted August 29, 2010 Share It looks as if it has a physical and/or medical cause. My personal experience is – go to the Sports Science Institute next to Newlands stadium. They are exceptionally good at sorting out these kind of situations. Just phone them and ask them who (which professional) would be most applicable.
