mikkelz Posted September 5, 2010 Share My first ride in to Cape Point. It was pretty sweet on the way there, but the wind (North Westerly) on the way back was a bitch! http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs298.snc4/41247_158541154156655_100000023151223_535332_6034162_n.jpg It's nice taking advantage of the 12 entries to Cape Point (not sure where else) that you get with a Wild Card. DMC007 Posted September 7, 2010 Share I was wanting to do this for a while now. What is the distance from the entrance gate down to Cape Point? I cycle from Rondebosch and get 40km to the top of Smits. Are groups of 10 allowed to cycle in the Reserve?I need to renew my Wild Card though. I don't think there's a limit on the number of cyclists that can cycle there. As long as you obey the rules of the road, I'm sure it'll be fine? According to my Garmin, I did about 22km's inside the reserve. That's from the entrance, to where I took the photo and back. boulders beach is one. Thanks - wasn't aware of that!
