Jagermeister Posted November 1, 2012 Share Not tape, but an excellent protective measure that I use on my bikes: I bought a 1m length of 'spiral wrap' from Builders' Warehouse. It is available in a continuous roll in the electrical cabling section. Available in opaque or black (I use black). It's used to 'wrap' electric / electronic cables together so that they are neat & tidy. Made from tough plastic (perhaps polypropylene?) I wrapped my chainstay end-to-end and used cable-ties on each end to secure it. Works like a charm, and my frame has Zero dents or chips.
