Zeps Posted September 11, 2010 Share The Juicy levers I have been riding with for many years are rattling terribly .. looks like the 'bush' that it swivels on is worn. Can this be and can you get a 'service' kit with the necessary parts in?
Capricorn Posted September 11, 2010 Share yep, u can get the parts. but be warned: they not cheap (according to my LBS, then again I was looking for a new barrel on my Elixirs), and u might find it more economical to just get another set of brakes. Zeps Posted September 13, 2010 Share Hey Mecnic, how much is 'relatively inexpensive' ?
Mecnic Posted September 14, 2010 Share Last time I re did a lever the kit was under R100 that included new bushes for the lever and all the internal piston o rings ect the Juicy parts are alot Cheaper than the new Elixer parts. I might have a few of the lever bushes laying aroud and let you know. Easiest is ask the LBS to get you a price on a Juicy lever service kit
