brussel Posted September 13, 2010 Share OK so my rear hub creaks when I am on the gas on a climb. The sound is a clicking noise not dissimilar to the sound a poorly adjusted rear dérailleur makes with the chain rubbing the sprocket. I have dissembled an reassembled the hub and the sound disappears for a short while but halfway through the next ride it is back. The bearings seem fairly smooth, no rumbling or grinding....any help? Wyatt Earp Posted September 14, 2010 Share Brus I had the same issue if it is the same.I found that taking the cassette off and putting some grease on the freebody splines worked well.
