Heavy.

Have a look and see if there is GOOD backup in SA.  If you break just one spoke and the local bikeshop does not have it........

Dragon Sports.

Same guys that brings in Giant, I think.

Should be OK then.

For R7k for a clincher, why don't you have a look at the Zaphiro/Equinox/Edge wheels that comes in at about R5 500??

Looks like you will be spended R3.5k on carbon aesthetics.  Get a set of Eurus and you will have saved a few bob and the wheelset will be lighter and probably stronger.

Alex wheels (or A-class as they brand some wheels) are notoriously inconsistent.  I don't think there quality standards are great, so you may well end up with a white elephant.

Speak to WW on Sunday.  She rides with A-Class as does Delgado (2 VERY opposing views though)
They are great wheels mate but I think they are better suited to a lighter rider. i.e. <80kg's. Their warranty policy is typical seffa!

I can't post a picture of mine because I left my cable at home - BUT

The bank manager arrived on my doorstep this morning with a brand spanking new set of SanRemo Carbon Rims clad with some brand spanking new Gator Skins - I can't wait to try these babies out. A very big thank you Mrs Bank Manager (my wife).
