This is such a HOT bike

The new Blindside is taking over the top spot in the Transition Bikes

lineup as our largest travel bike. Designed to be quick and easy to

throw around with just the right amount of travel. The bike is

extremely versatile with DH friendly geometry like a lower bottom

bracket and slack headtube for railing corners at high speed. We also

desinged this bike to shine in freeride environments like Whistler

where you need a bike that can handle any situation. From steep

technical rocky sections to massive drops and jumps, the Blindside can

do it all.

Given that freeride bikes generally only have two blades up front, wouldn't it be better to put a "road" bike rear derailleur on given the much smaller profile ?

We fit quite a few jump, DH and Trail bikes with road der's. I've found that you have to go a long way to beat a 9sp 105....even on a DH bike!

Hey Daemon....a very late response to your post but I tend to miss things as I'm not on the Hub too much lately.

You've been posting a couple Transition pics...are you considering getting one?

One of my mates in Whistler rode the bike that I think preceded this one, the Grand Mal. He LOVES it! It's SO plush....feels like you can hit a curb and not even know it!

I met at least 6 or 7 people riding different models and everyone loved them. Really good looking and performing bikes!

Ja, saw one of those. Never spoke to him about that one. What's the travel like?

Foe....the discbrake mounts to a bracket that is attached to the arm. It isolates the brake from the suspension movement so that the two don't affect each other.....something like that
