'Dale Posted January 14, 2021 Share Today was terrible. I ran out of water. I had an extra 6 liters and 2 bottles.To answer your question. Food I carry. It is a lot of bread and peanut butter. In towns I get fruit and anything I cam eat before I get going. Water I carry what I can. It is heavy stuff. I have had to stop at farm houses more than I care to remember. So far every single time I am supplied with ice cold water and a smile. I am extremely grateful to them. I used to stop at streams. But they are all dry now. And my bike too ????We have fond memories of these routes ... in a 4x4 .... It must be an absolute visual feast on a bike .... The summer heat surely is another topic ....
