Where has your bike taken you today?

A recovery week for me, so no pictures. Reading a book, while on the IDT and wearing only a pair of bib shorts, shoes & socks, while leisurely turning the cranks around and around, can’t be a good sight; it is quite an enjoyable way to multitask though.

Last night, I had the phone out of arms reach, and saw a number 33, 40, 52, 33, 42, etc., and thought that was my current speed. Eventually realized it was my %FTP and not the current speed. I was completely lost to all data except the time.

That reminds me, I have a pair of Ksyriums I need to sling on the classifieds. Thanks.

Waiting for feedback from the LBS, then I’ll start asking around. Problem with proprietary-branded wheels.

At least I have 2 road bikes at my disposal, and a recovery week, so hopefully no rain on the weekend and next week.

THEN - along the byways, footpaths, river walks and all kinds of shortcuts as well as a detour or two - HOME. See how excited and sparkly the Merckx became after a little activity! Somewhat like me? (Woolsack Drive, UCT Lower Campus, Devils Peak in background)
