Jbr Posted August 28, 2021 Share This morning was cold and wet. Probably the first time I don’t see anyone at the top of chappies on a Saturday ! Didn’t take the leg warmers as I thought they tend to get heavy when wet… had to wring out my socks twice as I couldn’t feel my feet anymore. Cycling is so much fun ! It was a bit better in the afternoon though ! But still a bit cold ! HenryS Posted August 29, 2021 Share Darling Brew Extreme. I did the "60km" Bone Crusher. They added an extra 10% for good measure. After 2 days of rain, the ENTIRE route was full of mud and water like this. It is the longest I have ever spent on a mountain bike in one ride. Not even Karoo 2 Coast took me this long to finish. daveno7 Posted August 29, 2021 Share the cool morning mist gave way to another gentle sunny day here....the weather is on a bit of a roll here...about 20c down south here...I suppose after a few years in SA...I still need to ride with a Gillet...but a decent ride with a few lovely hills and a coffee stop....a few other road cyclists out as well...just a week left here ...so max time will be spent on the bike..????
