Event Name: Global Spokes Charity Event When: 25 February 2012 - 26 February 2012 Where: Neelsie, Stellenbosch, Western Cape Category: Road Greetings Everyone For those of you out there who would be interested in doing a training ride and raise money for charity. I would like to suggest the Global Spokes Charity Event. This year's event takes place next weekend February 25 & 26 in Stellenbosch. The idea is simple: Cycle as far as you'd like within a 24hr period raising money per kilometer for either of the Global Spokes beneficiaries. How?: Follow (www.globalspokes.co.za) to register as a participant with a particular goal distance and encourage families, friends, corporates and colleagues to sponsor your ride for charity either as a lump sum or per kilometer. Alternatively: Not keen on cycling? Why not sponsor a rider who is committed to cycling this event. You will help change the life of someone who is less fortunate!
