Hi, <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I'm quite new to the MTB community, but for the few times have been out with friends, I just loved it. I'm now thinking on getting me a decent MTB (Hard Tail) but still in the process of looking and shopping. I would like to have your views or opinions on MTBs, groupsets, shocks, etc. My budget would be something around +-R8k-R10k. What MTB would you recommend in this price range? Thus far I have seen a nice Merida and a KHS. Not 100% sure which model. The KHS was alite 3000 but was over R10k. Which is better? Shimano XT or Sram X-9? Anything else I need to know, please feel free to comment. Thanks,
