  2. I know dude. I break a chain every 2 weeks. Hehe. I need to lay off those Steroids. I bought the kit from Jonty. R500.00. I bought my helmet from Andrew too. My wife reckons I am a real Neethling groupie. I'm amped for the race at Sir Lowrys. Such a fun track. You Paarl boykies musn't boycott like you did the last time we had a race there. I wish I could make it to the shuttle day on Sunday but i have to put in time at home. I'll deff make a turn there in the next few weeks tho.
  3. How much? Pricing is as follows Model Price X1 R 2900.00 Y1 R 2800.00 S1 R 2600.00 The protection factor is the same for all the braces. I personally have the S1 and it works very well. Advantages over other neck braces. - Lighter - Less restrictive - Cheaper - Folds up neatly in half so it takes up less space in your gear bag - Can be worn with body armour without the need to cut your race shirt - Designed to spread impact forces away from your back and collar bones your_name_here2010-06-01 05:17:32
  4. I snapped my chain off the line in my first run. (My legs are just way too strong). In my 2nd run I was desperate to at least post a time so I go all paranoid about crashing and went way too slow. Anyways. no big crashes and 2 days of downhill fun. what more can you ask for. To all the guys that didn't come. You really missed out. The track was fast and flowy with loads of features to keep you interested. I doubt that their wil be another oportunity to shuttle that track again this year. 73 people came out and had fun. A huge thanks to Chris and everyone concerned. The next race is at Sir Lowrys pass on the 26th and 27th of June. There are no huge road gaps or massive doubles to contend with. The track is fast and flowy with some really cool features like a step up and a hip jump or 2 to keep things interesting. I would have to say Sir Lowrys is probably my favorite track. If you aren't in to the race aspect of the whole thing just do the practice day. Quite a few people do and that's just fine. The track is on private land so this will more than likely be your only opportunity to legally ride this track all year. So come on guys. Come do the rest of the provincial races. Trust me. you will be hooked, amped, stoked and all those other words that mean happy.
  5. one word. starts and ends with the same letter. K.

  12. Sweet. perfect for shuttle runs.
  13. Hey Guys. Just a reminder of the build day at Jonkers on the weekend. If you need a lift give me a call on 083 457 1923. Remember the race next weekend too. it's gonna be good.
  14. Er. ja sorry about that. Tried to copy & paste. The short story is this. Chris has organised a build weekend for NEXT weekend at Jonkershoek. 22 and 23 May. I'm going on the Saturday. We need to get the track sorted for the race the following weekend. Cap. I'm probly just gonna ride Tokai this weekend cos 3 weekends straight of riding far from home is a bit much. your_name_here2010-05-11 04:04:57
