  1. well according to the fox racing shock tech center the following helps to maintain the float: Every ride: clean exterior of fork with mild soap and water After 15hrs riding time: clean and inspect dust wipers After 50hrs riding time: service fork; where they inspect dropout thickness, inspect bushings, change the oil, change the Float fluid in the air chambers etc. So its really a question of how often you ride and for how long, that determines the frequency of services. Bear in mind that it's wise not to leave a new fork for too long before servicing, the guys in the assembly factory can sometimes skimp on stuff! The best is to keep it clean, don't forget to turn the lockout "off" after climbing and before descending and have it set to your weight and usage.
