YES i expected the parcel to go through regular mail. very glad it hasnt

just received my parcel! used DHL Paket (From Germany) got delivered to my door by EMS paid R300 in duties/taxes ect ect edit: it took 13 working days from postage to delivery

Mine took roughly a week to "appear" in SA after it shipped from Germany. I'm very surprised that i can track the item in SA, crossing all my fingers that it'll be delivered today! will fill you in

i doubt the item is coming thru SAPO, it seems like it will be delivered here today (touch wood) Shipping used was DHL Paket (from Germany) you think i could give DHL SA a call and ask them for a hand?

Morning my tracking updated to "The shipment is being prepared for delivery in the delivery depot, the shipment is being delivered to the recipient" EDIT: SAPO still have no record of the item in their system

this is why im so confused, according to my tracking it already been through customs and is en route to the delivery depot

ive tried this, i repeatedly get told that there is no record of my parcel on their system

i have been trying this, on monday 12/06/17 my parcel "arrived in the country" so it had to be scanned in, right? tuesday 13/06/17 my item cleared customs and is en route to the delivery depot so my item has definitely been scanned on SA shores, yet my tracking number EK0xxxxxxxxDE does not show anywhere see attached tracking from DHL website

did you track it all the way on on the DHL site?

Cannot be, my tracking said that it went into customs on monday and is now en route to the delivery depot see attached PS: Item was shipped with German post not DHL

Hi upon using 17track.net it says the following; 2017-06-13 22:43South Africa, The shipment has left the import parcel center in the destination country. how many more steps does it need to progress until i can collect?

i got fooled into thinking DHL DE is DHL and paid 50 euro for my shipping. little did i know it'll be coming through SAPO

Good morning my tracking has just updated! Tue, 13.06.17 22:43 South Africa The shipment has left the import parcel center in the destination country. Could someone deceiver what this means? is it headed to my PO now or another sorting facility ?

i tried mailing her, she was little to no help. also took a couple days to reply

she's on the ball this morning! ive seen some other email addresses on the interweb but none that respond as quickly as her

a week after my parcel left Germany it was scanned in and currently being processed by customs. something must be up with yours

i have contact my PO for the local tracking number, still awaiting a response. i read somewhere that after being cleared by customs it will be then passed onto capemail and then to my local PO, if this is true what are the chances i could intercept the parcel at capemail?

Hi Iwan, DHL paket is not the DHL express service we all know, its basically regular mail. i know this because the parcel will be handed over to SAPO. This is why i ask how long it might take to "clear" customs

Hi guys! sorry for digging up this old thread i had a parcel ship out of Germany (using DHL paket) on the 31/05/17 yesterday (12/06/17) i was notified by tracking that the shipment was being prepared for customs clearance. how long is this process and when could i expect to get my hands on the parcel?
