Aren't inserts miserable in the rain/mub on mtb??? I have looked at some prescription options, but still making up my mind. Currently I have some prescription Square Wire Oakleys. Wind protection is crappy! Especially on cold mornings the tears run.... and i can see bogger all. Seems like contacts are the way to go.

I think I'll go the ust presta route. Drilling my brand new rims...... It'll break m heart!!! Guys thanks for the advice.

Hi guys, <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I have my eye on a 2 month old Mongoose Teocali. It?s hardly been used and is absolutely spotless for R12 000. It retails for R20 000. It also quite heavy (tad over 14kg) but with 140mm of travel it tends to be more of an all mountain/trail bike than a XC bike. My question is weather this is too heavy for doing 50 odd km XC country races say once a month or so. I?m not a very competitive rider but I don?t want to spend more time cursing than smiling. Any input will be much appreciated. Many thanks.
