Hi On 16 dec I was bike jacked outside northern farm. The following was stolen and would be great if memebers could be on the look-out. Black Yeti ASR, rear carbon stay Fiziki seat Components included, Sram X0 rear derailler, XT Front derailler, Raceface front chain rings, Mavic hubs and rims, Thompsons seat post Front lock out Fox fork Included Garmin mountings with distinctive scratches on the headset. Front crank had garmin mounting for cadence measure as well as rear garmin mount

On 16 dec I too was bike jacked just outside northern farm. I can describe the location better as the tar road leading south over the highway . I was stopped by three gun wielding chaps who drag me down the embankment and stuck a gun to my head, knee in back and kept one trained on me from front. They proceeded to frisk me and tried to aggravate me by grabbing my privates. They took everything bar my socks and cycling kit. I was one my own , returning from long MTB ride, had completed 65km. I got worried when they dragged me into bushes where we were totally out of site. I took the opportunity and jumped through bushes and ran 1km into northern farm. Luckily I can tell the tale. Sadly there is no security at northern farm that could respond. The gang where organised as they made a call for a vehicle to collect them Northern farm bikers are not safe and neither is riding approaching the location. They stole : Yeti MTB, black in colour. XT componets, SramX0 rear derailler, Mavix rims and HUBs , Fiziki seat Carmin Ipod Cellphone (unfortunately it had to be my Blackberry)

I also think that riding in a group may help but if there is a gun to your friends head I would think u would hand over whatever.
