R100 for lunch an supper seems fair. Sure enough. It seems fair. Although, if u read the small print, it says whether you eat or not. That's where the problem comes in for me. A man and his wife came to watch their child sing, they were not allowed in. What about those who had already eaten at the tea room above the race village. It's sometimes not what you say, but how you say it. The attitude and connotations of that fine print were a little unpleasant. I would usually not have a problem paying R100 for 2 meals. Out of all the stops we had along the whole route, that was the only place with an attitude towards supporters and spectators. Although, I have to agree with Domestique, it was by far the lowest scoring stop of the event. Besides the bad attitude the food was not on par with the other stops. Anyhow, the rest of the event was probably the best riding and support money can buy, worth every penny. And as for the coffee, wow, it is without a doubt the best coffee on this planet.
