  1. But if it is such a sham and everybody in the world knows that it is just what it is, surely the sponsors should know better? It just feels like were are going around in circles with this - dont you agree?
  2. I do get it but the question remains, if it can be easily beaten... then why have it done in the first place?
  3. and I have to agree with you on this! some people simply refuse to admit this is the sham that it is. after YEARS of being randomly tested, in addition to the tests administered during the Tour, he never turned up positive, ever. His performance never suddenly peaked or changed. It steadily improved over the years which is exactly the way someone who DOESNT DOPE performs.
  4. so if the tests are so easily to beat - why have them? wasnt he like tested everyday during one TDF?
  5. and I can concur with you on this - correct me if I am wrong but he never actually failed a dope/drugs test EVER. am I right? he fought cancer and was the best cyclist in the world. Feel sorry for him that this has happened to him - therefore I wont judge him.
  6. We are not here to criticize or judge or be nasty to one another - this is simply a forum to express thoughts and concur in sensible discussions. Some may think Lance is a cheat, some may think he is not, but we all would agree that he has done more to give life and hope to cancer patients than any of us sitting on our lazy ass and judging him.!!
  7. I agree - go and check out his ex-team mate, Tylor Hamilton's book release spilling all the beans - surely he must have thought..... LETS MAKE SOME MONEY at the expense of Lance Armstrong! I think they are not trustworthy....!
  8. “I wasn’t so naïve that I didn’t have an inkling that he was probably hedging,” Lampe said. “Everybody in that sport cheats, if you want to call it cheating. He was still the best; he was beating everybody else who was cheating. And he’s still a miracle with respect to beating cancer and all he has gone through. Look at what he has done with his altruistic work: That is something to be admired. He had the platform, and not everybody who has the platform takes advantage of it.”
  9. agreed. you make a damn good point.
  10. REALLY?????????? SERIOUSLY? not going down your path.
  11. apology accepted - and yes, I can see where you are going - it would be funny
  12. Lance Armstrong’s legacy as cancer survivor turned seven-time winner of the Tour de France is in ruins after he was accused of drug-taking on a massive scale, and being the ringleader of the most sophisticated doping conspiracy in sporting history.

  14. havent you seen the last wave ride up here?
  15. well - then they shouldve done this while he was still racing! obviously someone wasnt doing there job back then - right is right and wrong is wrong - agree! but still, if you do something wrong now, you cant be punished after 55 years from now, you should be punished now!
  16. My opinion, leave him alone. What is done is done. Why bother - hulle krap obviously waar dit nie jeuk nie - let bygones be bygones! seriously! they are acting up like old women with wet pants.... seriously!
  17. Can anyone please assist - I need all future dates for Rooiwal Cycle races 2012? Thanks!
  18. U know, we've been out twice (hectic busy schedules... sigh) now at Groenkloof with the Scott Spark 40 and man, she is worth every little piece of penny that I have spent on her! Its like riding a piece of cloud in the sky - PURE BLISS! Would love to become the new spokesperson for the Scott Spark 40! Its better to save up and invest in a great bike than to buy cheap in the hope that you will love the sport - it aint gonna happen!
  19. totally agree with you with regards to NO SOLUTION.... pity though...
  20. hey dude - absolutely!!!! cant wait for the test drive tonight in our valley! word goes around... she's a performer so must make every second count! ye haa!!! to the good times ahead!!!
  21. Thanks for all the nice wishes Tubehunter, Iron, Stumbles, ALLMTB, Puncheur & Smolster - love her already and have a complete 180 degree smile smacked on my face... hehe
