Hi Shaper, Thanks! This is how the battery look like. Can’t plug the charger to a computer. Will ask again Olympic Cycle if they can at least run a diagnostic at their level.

Hi Lechatnoir, Yes if I could find a technician able to complete such tasks, it would be great! Thanks for the suggestion of a 11 speed Di2 groupset. I wasn’t sure if it can fit on this bike. I’ll definitely give it a shot!

Hi Edereese, Despite a replaced battery (which I had to source from Excel Sports in Colorado, US), gears would not change properly (especially by the cassette/jokey) and now nothing works despite a charged battery. When taking the bike to Olympic Cycles in Claremont, WC, I am told they can’t help me due to non availability of parts. I can’t say what is wrong really as I am really bad in fixing stuff! Bike is great otherwise (2012 Giant TCR Advanced 0) and it hurts to have to change it just because of a faulty old Di2 group set…

Where in or around Cape Town can I get a first gen Shimano Dura Ace Di2 group set fixed now that it is discontinued ?
