  1. De Hoop has been one of my favorite training routes. On Friday afternoon, I went for a ride for the first time since 2012 on De Hoop. However, I am disappointed to see how one of the local farmer's (won't mention his name)for speeding while passing vehicles on a solid white line on a blind corner. In this situation, I was almost knocked off my bike but somehow managed to stay on the bike.I do feel it unnecessary for anyone to act like this. Not only do you put your own life at risk, but those around you too. There has been a few cases where I almost hit a vehicle a few times because they stop around a blind corner picking up people. In the past, the farmer's children threw me with rocks while out training. I was mad for what they did and wanted an apology from the parents for their children's bad behavior.
