  1. Hi Depending on your budget obivously.... My advice would be not to get a top of the line bike for your first one, especially a mountain bike, the reason for this is that while you are learning to ride you will, scratch it, eat the gears while learning to shift correctly. My first bike was an Oryx 29er with entry level parts and it taught me to ride correctly, it still lives and works well, although I have a new bike now. Go to Cajees Cycles on Hedrik Potgieter Road and look at what they have there.
