    KILLARNEY

This was our charity of choice for the end of season: Hello Midge Just a short email to say thank you to you and your friends at De-al-Cycling for the donation of R500 received during March 2014. This is really so greatly appreciated by our volunteer committee and of course all the rescues in our care. The money will be used towards the sterilization of a dog – either one in foster care or one in our township area where the owner cannot afford to pay the full cost of sterilizing. This will make a positive impact on the quality of life of that dog and will prevent more unwanted puppies and the spread of disease. Thank you for helping us to help a dog in need. Paws Up!! On behalf of all the dogs awaiting their sterilisation and rescue from township and street life – we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for donating so generously to us. Donations are always very welcome and sincerely appreciated, as your valuable and ongoing support keeps us going as a welfare organisation, so as to continue providing our essential services. Our work in the townships is never done and we rely solely on the goodwill of animal lovers such as yourself to continue our work. With your help we can continue improving the lives of many animals! For more information/updates on African Tails please visitwww.africantails.co.za or our African Tails Facebook page. Thank you so much for nominating African Tails this year! We really appreciate it and we look forward to the donation that we will be collecting. This time of year it is very busy so we can make do with every bit we get! KILLARNEY 4.12.13

Great turn out and a lot of fun! The youngsters - one U8 - took to the track first and then the big boys followed soon after. Thanks to all our regulars that came and thanks for all the help you gave the younger riders. We all appreciate it. We managed to pay out about 12 sprint laps plus a few prizes for "trying hard". Well done all. See you all on the 15th January. Happy holidays. Don't panic Alex - no points:) Was going to put a results post but thought you might have a heart attack!!!!!!! Smiley Chris van zyl - you won a sprint. Spent your money but will give you two entries in lieu of cash.
  23. Stop worrying - the rain IS going to clear. If there is no notice on this site, or you have not received a phone call by 4pm RACING IS ON!
  24. Such a disappointing turnout - 46 riders braved the wind a reminder that there will be racing next week but NOT FOR POINTS! We are hoping to be able to pay a few sprints. For those of you that forgot to bring donations for the doggy charity .....you have another chance Killarney will resume on the 15th January. Sharon and I wish all of you happy holidays, merry christmas, or whatever you wish to call the festive season! Thanks for your support. Have a good rest and stay safe.
