Hi Hamstring, So I'm assuming that you cycle via Voortrekker. Would you have to ride on the pavement/side walk when using Voortrekker? Are there few/many other cyclists on the road too?
Hi Eddie, Thanks so much for the route info. I'll be working in Upper Camp rd Maitland, which is deep in Maitland and also close to the M5. I was thinking of going via Thornton and Pinelands, which will bring me to Ndabeni circle and is close to Upper Camp road. But this is quite a long detour.
Hi everyone, I live in Panorama and I'm starting a new job in Maitland. I was thinking of cycling to work via Uys Krige, Giel Basson, Milton, Jakes Gerwell and Voortrekker roads. But to my knowledge these routes are not safe, especially Voortrekker. Is there a safer alternative route? Thanks, Jason
