I see this is in Pretoria. Are there any in the cape town area?

The only thing i haven't learnt there yet is a fork and shock service.
I have learned a lot from YT, and have fixed quite a few stuff on my bike, but a day spent with a proper mechanic would be nice. 😅
Good evening fellow hubbers.
Can anyone suggest a place where one can go to for a bike Mechanic course? Just some basics on how to service a bike properly?
Morning hubbers.
Where could one find a XL specialized chisel frame?
What would be a good estimate to pay for a mtb with this frame, GX drivetrain and CF handle bar and seatpost?

I was in the same boat, I am 1.86 and is borderline L/XL. On your length I would recommend going for a XL. I know some brands are bigger like silverback. What brand are you looking for ? But in short yes its a struggle to find decent XL deals..
What is your budget +- ?
I actually have a XL Merida 96 carbon frame that I need to list for sale 😎
What is your price? 😅
@Phillippe Coetzee, budget is about 20k-25k. At the moment I'm still just browsing as my job hours doesn't allow for cyclimg at the moment.
But definitely in the market for a carbon hardtail frame once work allows for it (and the budget of course)
Looking for wisdom.
I am 190cm and most bike size charts shows I am XL, while size L is mostly up to 188cm. The market is flooded with good deals in Large MTBs, but very little XL bikes available.
My question is will I regret buying a Large MTB, is there a way around it?
I can't seem to find a decent XL bike compared to the L bikes available.
Any suggestions?
Good fellow hubbers
Does anyone know what time Majik Forest closes? I see Google states it's 19:00, but I've seen numerous cars parked there after that, and heard other people going in after that time as well?
Does anyone know what time exactly the gates closes.
I know this is of topic, but probably the right crowd to ask.
Where in Durbanville can one do a bit of trail running except for majik Forest. I see there's a lot of trails in Durbanville, but mostly MTB.
It's worth noting we stay in Burgundy Estate, so hillcrest and Bloemendal probably the closest trails?

Looking for some wisdom from fellow hubbers concerning drivetrains (MTB specific)
What is the best bang for buck drive train in your experience? What I've read so far is that sram GX is the best value for money. What about shimano XT? And also the lower tier Sram NX?
I couldn't find any thing on this in the forum
