I have just returned to the office after a lunch with another HUBBER.

On our drive home we came across 4 cyclists riding 2 abreast on a busy road. We could not get past, and at first we are patient. After 30seconds I reached over and pushed the horn to tell them to move. Thye just ignore us. Then we hoot again and the one cyclist turn and give us the finger.

So we manage to pull alongside when the traffic clears and I tell them that we too are cyclist and that they should know beter. They start shouting and swear at us. So we drive on

At the next robot we are stopped, and they catch up to us. The one kick the door of my friends car as they come past slowly, and quickly ride off.

We try to catch them, but have no luck finding them once we turn and go back. There is now a big scratch and dent in the door.

These 4 youngsters are riding in Supercycling/Toyota kit. It is a disgrace, and we were at first patient with them. No wonder we get so much trouble from motorists when we ride.

My opinion...This Shannon person got dumped for a cyclist, and thats pre empted the s#!t storm thats now brewing. Ignore them I say...its all macho idiot posturing, and if something tragic was to come of it, then they'd be right f#$%ed coz everything is in writing for us all to see.

To qoute a well known saying "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"... This applies here.

We have all jumped lights, littered at some stage or even ridden two abreast (personally, I like 2breasts on a ride )

So to sit and discuss this at great lentgh is a waste of time.

If we could change it, then we could do the same for motoring...no more would I have to get p!$$#d everytime somebody "sat" in the fast lane, or UNDERTOOK, or my personal favourite...drive with a child standing on the seat.

Face it...its a lost cause, one we are all guilty of...

Can somebody please tell me what the differences are in the Cannondale frames?? I looked at a CAAD4, and there is very little difference to the CAAD7...or am I greatly mistaken? Whats the SIX/13? Whats the CAAD9? They seem to have more models than BMW?!?

I believe the CAAD4 is no more?
