A great piece of writing for a great race. It has inspired me - I am going to rent out my children and sell my spare bikes (maybe) to scrounge some cash for an entry. As the writer claims the word journey is bandied about almost as much as ‘single track’ but this race really is a journey in the sense of a journey being an actual journey.
