Hi all, Any thoughts / comments between a choice of these 2 bikes (2022 models). The Silverback has SRAM components and the Scott has Shimano. Any difference between these two, and overall on the bikes? Also, if I wanted to trade / sell in a few years which has better resale value between the brands? Thanks in advance

Hi all, In the hype of taking up cycling I recently bought a pair of cycling shoes for R800 without thinking too much about it. Unfortunately after my first ride (I have a Fuji Absolute 1.3 Hybrid) I realised the front of the shoes are too narrow and I have wide feet causing swelling and pain in my small toes. Any suggestions for cycling shoes that cater for wide feet and won't break the bank. Thanks

Hi, I just started cycling in July 2023 and have a hybrid bike Fuji one.3 with normal pedals. My intention is to ride Amashova & 947, and don't plan on using this bike for any off road trails. The most would be riding around the local parks in Jhb like Emmarantia / Zoo lake. I'm in the process of buying SPD bike shoes and looking to get these concept dual ride pedals from Sportsmans Warehouse, to suit the races and casual rides. Thanks, that's helpful. I'm a marathon runner and looking to try out cycling as another sport and see if it is something that I will like and stick with. So, yes purchasing an older budget friendly version to get into the sport.
