  1. @Boktiet82 Have you tried an XL as a comparison?
  2. Thanks @ Woodrow for reinforcing my decision, been looking for a while and based on other rider feedback and definitely pricing I am set on getting a Titan, ideally 120mm, budget wise I have been looking at the 120 cypher Dash. Still don't quite understand the difference between the models but I will get there. Just don't want to make an expensive mistake and buy the wrong size.

  4. Hi all, I cycled a lot about 30kg ago and have found a huge difference in the 1980's and 90's road frame sizes vs 2020 something MTB's. I currently ride a Scott Aspect 25fs 26" which is about 15 years old in a Large frame. I was never fitted for the bike, it was a 2nd hand sale and felt ok so I took it. I have lost 37Kg over the last year and back under 100Kg now and would like to ride more and upgrade my bike. I want to get a Titan Cypher, specific model will depend on budget but I assume the frame geometry is all the same. At 183cm tall the recommendation is a large frame. I can get an Xl at a good price. What would the downsides be? I am 53 so not going to be a top end racer or tackle tough downhills at speeds that I don't find comfortable. 90% of my riding is on reasonably open trails and I typically do distances of between 30 to 60km on a Sunday ride. Would it be a disaster for me to size up?
