  1. Hello. I have installed this battery. Purchased from PolarTech Australia. Being 3.8v instead of 3.7v makes the device detect a higher battery level, as it is based on the voltage drop for that data. From 3.8v to 2.8v is equivalent to 100% to 0% (approximately), because below 2.8v the battery starts to deteriorate and does not allow it to go below that value. It is almost as thin and only slightly larger in size than the original and fits perfectly without being too tight as happens with the 502530 3,7v 370mA model that other people have assembled. The 340mA capacity almost doubles the 180mA of the original Garmin battery and therefore its duration is much longer. To seal the screen I used extra strong 3M double-sided adhesive tape, resistant to water and high temperatures, cut into thin strips and special glue for mobile screens T-7000/T-8000 black in the joints where the sections were joined.
