  1. Thanks guys for the replies, replacing the broken part would be a better option financially. It's not the cage that is broken but a piece that clips behind the hanger to tension the chain. I will take a picture tonight and post.
  2. Hi, I am brand new to this forum and generally new to cycling. After flying my Raleigh RC6000 back from Cape Town I took it for a ride and managed to get the rear derailer to hook the spokes and break the hanger. Replaced the hanger and found the rear derailer has a piece broken off so it clicks when riding. I am now looking to replace the rear derailer with a Veloce at R838 or can I fit the Corus carbon derailer for R1100 both 10spd. Also how do I tell if the old one is a small or medium?
