  1. DaddyG (and hubbers) - publicly now, i am sorry for the frustration caused - it has been addressed i assure you. I've addressed it with passengers of the van - as i was driving. Hubbers - I just spoke to DaddyG on the phone now - again apologizing for the incident. Guys - bad driving is not acceptable, agreed. I (and we) don't advocate bad driving and for this case I need to take a slap on the wrist for it even being an issue raised by DaddyG - and for him even feeling frustrated and at risk. All true or not… an apology is needed, so is given. The reason for not going into detail in my response is that the points raised in the problem were not quite true. Pointless arguing when i simply need to apologize, and move on knowing the raised issue. MORE care/consideration will be taken by myself and anyone driving our van (and other vehicles) so the issue will and has been addressed. The bad-mouthing and further insults are not necessary - after hearing 1 side of the story only. It's not an ongoing issue and won't be - I will make sure of that. Lesson learnt and apology made publicly now. Mike
  2. Hi DaddyG Thanks for the feedback, although negative. Thanks for the chat on the phone too - good to catch up. You and those who know the Complete lot… know we're a good bunch. Appreciate the frustration caused on Sat am. I hope you (and all others) had a good/safe race. Keep well & ride safe. Mike
  3. My first post in a loooooooooooooooooong time. Hello hubbers! This is my 29er HT project... Stripped a 29er frame of it's paint, resulting in this 1-off bundle of joy:

  5. On behalf of Jose Cuervo, it was a pleasure!! Loads of fun was had by all, even with the miff weather. I'm glad our club set-up attracted so many others though, it became the place to be... With snacks and drinks on the house after a hard ride, i am not surprised... Hw awesome were those Jose Cuervo Black Cocktails on the monday night hey!? Made up for that evening... new mix.
  6. I am looking online, and there aint much going on... I know Michelle was up there, but seeing as we all only got back yesterday, it's a bit soon to have uploaded all of them. So i am wondering where else you can find some.
  7. I didn't have a towbar on my new golf, so went for Roof racks. I loved them form the minute i got them, and find them really easy to use. Not fussed bout wind resistance, coz it's a TDi so i can still do Durban and back with 2 bike on the roof at about 6L/100km... Now... i love them even more, due to this: We were on our way up to Nelspruit a few months ago, and were hit from behind on the high-way quite hard... car needed a new bumper. However, bikes were 100% and we we still able to ride. That's 1 up to roof racks Yes, some people do drive under things and take their bikes off. These things do happen... to very few
  8. Did the last one... flat and very very fast!! Well worth a trip out there if you have the time. I'm off to fun-ride world champs LOL

  15. Here's a bike out of the BH camp, and until now has been made mostly for the USA market. It's a Pro Tour Quality BH, which fits into the range under the 2010 G5. It's not as stiff or advanced, but then that would be hard given the specs on the new G5. The BH Connect is a nice option for those not sold on the ISP (Integrated Seat Post). This bike in picture is the Red CONNECT option, build with DT Swiss 1450 wheels, SRAM RED, FSA Bits and PZ racing seat post. It is a large and it weighs 6.7kgs as you see it... truth is, you could go lighter still. Prices start at just under R20K for the frame set and go up to what ever you want to trim the machine out with... I like!
