  5. Hi Velo, I have been looking through my archives and i have found some catalogues from the early 70's showing the Carlton range. You never know it may depict the bike you had all those years ago? I hope they help? http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz171/canopusxs235/cb0bcc1c.jpg http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz171/canopusxs235/6cce03fa.jpg http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz171/canopusxs235/4d38f9fc.jpg http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz171/canopusxs235/c47b36d9.jpg

  7. Hello and greetings everyone My name is jack and I'm from England. Though i am lucky enough to have a place in Cape Town also. I love South Africa. I have a passion for restoring old school Raleigh bicycles, especially the ones from the 70's & 80's. I have a varied collection of bikes from Raleigh Grifters, Choppers, Commando's, Burner BMX's, Bombers and including ones from South Africa too. If you have the same passion as me, then why don't you come along and check out the site. Its free to join. I would love to know if anyone has any information with regards to the Raleigh factory that was once in "Springs"? cheers Jack
