I am not sure if any other cyclists feel this way, but I feel that the organisers of the Tour Durban race should have made the registration venue a little more central. I feel it is a bit of a snub of the cyclists who are on the South Coast to have to drive all the way to Umhlanga to register. My father is a pensioner and the cost of petrol to him on a fixed income to have to drive to Umhlanga, together with fees is rather burdensome. I do realise that riders come from the North Coast too, but surely for an event such as this, a central Durban location should be chosen for registration.
