I am trying to think of a better one day mtb event I had ridden in the last couple of years and still cannot come up with anything, much better than the Argus mtb or die Burger MTB, even those were great events. The goodie bag was better than anything we got in a very long time too. I think is is one of a few genuine mtb events around. I will definitely be back if I am fit enough next year. The 63km is a tough ride and not recommended if you are unfit. Thumbs up to Piket-bo-Berg.

Just to set the record straight, both the snake and I survived the ordeal! Herewith the evidence of the fellow sailing away. MTB and Africa surely not for sissies.
