  1. thanks guys, getting a new shock and will have to settle for lock out setting, Ricky Bobby you are right, you stand the risk of limping, guess that is the price i'll pay for having the dual susp or should we carry two of everything, like on the Ark? My feeling is.... the less you have that can go wrong.. the less will go wrong, hardtail makes more sense!
  2. anyone have a Momsen medium frame for me taper head?
  3. Pump it sounds like the way to go, tx! Will try it and keep you posted
  4. Tx Rudi-h, i will probably get a new rear shock and lock it out..... tx!
  5. See Hennie, double posts are normal! Darn phones!
  6. Tx Ricky Bobby... Lol!! Something will give, me or the bike! Insurance claim kranswurm? Lol!

  8. Pardon the spelling!!
  9. Thanks Jacquers, My bike is a 29er. I have advertised it on the hub twice now, however, i have taken it off now. Thw bike is in good nick (except for the rear shock) It is a carbon frame as well so i guess it could put pressure on the frame... I would love to swop it fir either XTC or similar, my frame size is Large, obviously some R's to exchange hands. Send me yout e mail address and I will mail you some pics.
  10. I have a Scott spark expert, cant seem to sell it as i want to to go hardtail. So i rather turn my duelie into a hardtail, but not sure what is the best way of doing it... Coincidently my rear shock valve broke off, so locking out isn't an option, I also want to do away with remote lock out system. what is the best way?
  11. If you buy a 26er, i am almost certain by March next year will be back here trying to sell the 26er who no one will want, and you will be married to it... the other side, buy a entry level 29er, then by March next year you will probably have the entry 29er on sale looking for an upgrade! Go entry 29er!
  12. Depending on what weight you are talking about, I am 127kg and have found that the only wheel that have a reasonable weight limit is Easton, have a look at their rims they have a weight limit of 130kg..
  13. And after all the bebate Shimano still gone the extra mile to spend 5million on product development to create a shoe with a recess to walk easier!
  14. With emphasis on finishing I would say... Look at Evans and George in the last Epic. My personal choice is little heavier but won't let you down. Geax AKA / Saguaro is a pretty good combination, and you get it folded as well.
  15. What grams?
