  1. I'm happy to chip in for shipping if you guys can get a reasonable rate. [edit] Maybe check LBS and see if they'll box it for you free? They usually know how the shipping works.
  2. The ideal picture is waking up early, going for a ride, getting home at 9 and wandering around with family [edit: daily]. Look, I'm only thinking of your emotional distress 5 minutes after you finish your one and only ride.
  3. In the Cape and you'll ride once? I think ride near the beginning of your trip and then decide how much riding you want to do. Cape Hubbers: your task, should you choose to accept it, is to give him reason to cancel a few appointments.
  4. I generally consider each interaction with a pedestrian an opportunity to un-*$#% the reputation riders have. Greet them, ride around them, slow down, etc. Some won't greet you back but that's ok - they've probably repeatedly had to deal with some jerk bombing past them. Riding past a pedestrian at speed is just like a super-bike caning it past us.
  5. I have no audio here and I can't figure out the strategy. What is Saxo-T up to? Is this where they give up and work for the rest of the peleton just to be good okes?
  6. Maybe school was at the top of the mountains and he had to fetch water at the bottom. The local cafe was on a different mountain, so getting a Coke was a 4600m total ascent.
  7. I forget, but I'm sure I'll never forget that he was born at 3000 metres.
  8. And what retard would break himself on a TT and then die the next day on purpose, just for show? Unless he's playing a double-bluffing game and that's just infinitely less likely than "he worked too hard the day before a double-summit of the fricken Alpe d'Huez".
  9. I was thinking Froome was burning too much yesterday. He should really have taken 10% off the effort level and kept it for today.
  10. What a beautiful stage. Poor sprinters must be hating their life.
  11. We'll see what happens down the Alpe after team talk. I'm sure if 'Berto is caning it on the downhills, Froome won't follow as closely. Rather lose a minute that you can make up on the final climb than wipe out.
  12. Reruns of the stage the projector in my office. Not feeling lost at all )
  13. Seems there are a few different numbers for distance/ascent etc. But I'll go with this as my default position: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2363539/Tour-France-enjoyed-Lance-Armstrongs-cheating--Martin-Samuel.html
  14. Quintana must have dumped some energy shooting off the front that far from the end. I wonder what'll happen when he just sits with the group until they're weeded out.
