  1. This is another guy's question i came across. but i have been wondering about the same thing; any thoughts or suggestions guys? "So was riding a medium difficulty trail this weekend and took a few jumps. After watching the videos I realized if I had not fallen off of my first jump, my nuts would have been pancakes. So, I thought about buying the hard cased protective cups for mountain bikers which I would like to try. I did read an argument that the softer jock strap was better than the harder one but was unsure why. I'm thinking if I slammed my boys into my bike I would want the hard case to protect them. Can anyone tell me if they ride with the hard cased protective and how the riding has been (while on a rough trail)?" Sorry in advance for this question but much like Samson's hair, my nuts are my source of power.....

  3. Thanx guys. yes i am using tubeless mtb tyres with slime so it is quite a hassle (and messy) to change them and re-seat them every time i ride a road race. So i have a cheap (but heavier) set of wheels with road tyres all set up and read to simply swop over when i need them. Wasn't really sure if they were a great advantage due to all that extra weight in the wheels though.
  4. Does anyone know whether I would be better off riding the Argus on my Ghost soft-tail MTB... with slicks fitted, or with my MTB tyres? (Obviously the slicks are better for the road ‘per se’ but the reason for the question is that the set of wheels I have with slicks fitted are 1.1kg heavier than my MTB wheel-set) Would the lesser resistance of the slick tyres be cancelled out by the extra weight of the (1.1kg heavier) road wheel-set?
