Thanks Andydude! My father had already done that, there was no immeidate risk in the surroundings when he stopped to help Meezo, they were on the other side of the road! The motorbike accident happended quite a while after they were already helping Meezo. There was nothing that Meezo and the rest could do to avoid what happened to them, purely an accident. My dad was also cycling and could have been knocked off even if he did not stop. Unfortunately for him wrong time, wrong place, could have been anyone of us that got hurt.

Hi everyone! My dad is Gerhard, the guy who stopped to help Meezo. He is doing ok, just serious whiplash, strained anckle and soft tissue damage around torso. I just wanted to know if anyone has news about the other cyclist that crashed with the motorbike? Also there is so many conflicting stories about what happened. Could someone maybe just give me a run down? My poor dad says all he remembers is standing one moment, seeing the motorbike and then blacked out. I really want to ask all of you to please take care, it could have been a life changing incident for our family! If anyone knows the name or family of the seriously injured cyclist, please send our deepest sympathy and regards to them. We are really thinking about them. Regards
