  1. What wind ??
  2. Sincere apologies for the slip-up. Will be No.1 on our "fix it" list for next year.
  3. Over and done ! Tell us about your Kremetart Experience
  4. Online entries are now closed. Line entries can still be done for all races except for the 175 Km Stage race. Thanks a lot for everybody that have entered and we wish you a wonderfull race and weekend.
  5. Last day to enter. Roadies!, bring a mountain bike and enter for one the Sunday races.
  6. We had a suggestion to do the auction the "Vickrey" way. It is also known as a "sealed bid, second prize" auction. Bids can be submitted by email to sales@thompsonsvw.co.za beforehand. Bids will be printed and sealed by the race organiser. At pricegiving more sealed bids may be submitted. All bids submitted will be opened simultaneously. The highest bidder is the winner but pay the 2nd highest bid rather than his or her own. This allows for people that can not attend the prizegiving function to also submit bids. Please submit your bids, this is for a very worthy course
  7. As a tribute to the late Ryan Cox, we plan to auction some memorabilia during our Kremetart pricegiving function. In December 2005 Ryan and Tammy visited our club for a fun filled weekend of cycling and were also our guests of honour at our annual prizegiving function. Ryan was then the SA Road Champion. He donated an autographed cycling shirt to be auctioned for charity. The current owner has donated the shirt to the Kremetart to be auctioned once again. A framed collage of the shirt, photos and other items will be up for a charity auction.
  8. Do not miss out on this awesome race - you are in Louis Trichardt for the weekend, make the most of it. If you have entered only for the 175 Km race, bring a mountain bike and enter one of the Mountain Bike races and I guarentee that you will not regret it. The distances are 50, 30 and 10 Km.
  9. We would once more like to make the PPC Kremetart most enjoyable for everyone involved, but our first priority lies with the safety of participating cyclists. We appreciate your assistance and compliance regarding support vehicle rules. 1) Supporter buses will be available on race day! Please make generous use of them. It is good fun and some tour guides will be available to inform you and answer your questions. 2) We aim to ensure total road closure for the duration of the race. Support vehicles will therefore be strictly regulated along the entire route. 3) Traffic and race officials will not allow any vehicles along the route without official support vehicle identification. No vehicles will be allowed between bunches. 4) Support vehicle stickers will be available at registration but is issued at the discretion of the race organisers. Nobody without stickers will be allowed on the route. 5) All registered support vehicles will leave 20 minutes before the start of each stage. If they stop along the route, they will only be allowed back on the route after all cyclist and sweeper vehicle have passed. 6) Pro team managers wil meet with commissair and race organisers to familiarise themselves with requirements.
  10. I'm checking with the race organiser to get the exact arrangements regarding support vehicles.
  11. We had a visit from a hacker on our website, but it is sorted out. We can't wait for raceday! I'm sure this is going to be the best ever Kremetart by far. Tell us on The Hub who's coming. Nice pics will get the vibe going.
  12. Don't know what the problem is, we will attend to it. In the meantime you can enter directly on the Championchip website
  13. Joc, got no idea, can anyone else help maybe?
  14. Kremetart finish in 2007! It's never done......... till it's DONE. Watch the last millisecond!
  15. The past weekend we had 2 exciting races - Cycle Centre Challenge (Road Race on Saturday and MTB race on Sunday). Both races were used as trials for the upcoming PPC Kremetart 70 Km. and the MTB race. For the 175 Km. we don't need trials, we know. We are so prepared for a great event. Bring your families, bicycles, friends and good spirit and be part of the best cycling weekend ever!
