Hey how you doing. There are generic pads out there but the problem is that using these will compromise your warranty on the brakeset. All magura brakes come with a 5 year leakproof warranty to the original owner,so if a caliper or lever starts leaking within 5 years of purchase, it will be repaires or replaced by a new part. All magura pads are made of a softer organic compound and contain no metal,even the endurance pads. The problem with generic pads is that they mostly contain metal. This will cause your magura system to overheat during use,damaging seals and possibly boiling the fluid. We saw quite a couple of these cases at this years epic with guys running generics. We swithced their pads for originals and they had no more hassles.for the dealers to get the pads from us takes one day as we use an overnight courrier service to the shops, all they have to do is pick up the phone and order.
